I may have said this before but to me socialism is like porn. I can't define it but I know it when I see it. The actual measurable to me is the growth of government bureaucracy. To me it is virtually impossible to hold a politician accountable. For this reason alone I am against ever increasing concentrations of centralized power. My firm belief is that our freedoms will be taken away. Speeches are not policy. Power is policy. And I believe those who make speeches don't actually run the government; they only serve to brain-wash us and enrich themselves. Those who run the government are the vast bureaucracy; that is where corruption, waste and abuse is born and grows without impediment.

I believe it stated that if the water bill jumps up 55 gallons in a day then they know laundry was done. So any other spike has to be a shower. I guess they can take a 30 second shower and they wouldn’t know.
