1. Looks like a lot of fun to play or to watch. 2. I think we are looking at four of five starters for Texas next year. (Higgs should be #5, if healthy.) I hope this experience helps with on-court chemistry that carries over to the season. 3. I sure do enjoy watching the short video of Joyner blocking a shot (UConn's Olivia Nelson-Ododo, I believe?). Edit - No, not Nelson-Ododo. I am not sure who the opposing player is. 4. Joyner and Sug have special athletic gifts.
That that was Megan Walker that she blocked. And I pray to the basketball gods that Joyner won’t have any setbacks this season.
This event should give our players confidence and boost team chemistry for next season. Hopefully a few leaders will emerge to fill a much needed void.
I agree as hoopsalot said that’s probably the starting lineup next year with Lashann. Along with health I hope that Shug and Joyner can have better basketball IQ and cut down on some of the turnovers.
Well, after winning one game yesterday evening, the Horns lost in the quarter final round and were eliminated. Oregon won the final with ionescu scoring 17 of her team’s 21 points.
3 x 3 basketball is the most fun of all to watch and play, imo. Looks like we made a good showing. Wonder who beat us and who the other good teams were (other than Oregon).
