Best 2-out hitting we've seen in a good long while. 7-0 horns in the 8th.

 

Horns hold on, but this is a IW team Texas should win 99 out of 100 times--wait, what??? Oh never mind...

 

Horns put up 2 in the 7th and 4 in 8th, all with 2 outs, to hand UIW their first shutout of the season 9-0. Turnaround game?

Nice work Horns! I like this turn of events.

With this sort of success against a small Catholic school, we ought to schedule Holy Cross, St Boniface, and St Mary's while we're at it.

Um, don't forget UIW beat us 3-2 earlier. This was also their first shutout of the year. Gotta take what you can get sometimes.
