We have LSU, Bama, Georgia and Florida on our future schedules. We are playing the best programs in the SEC, no reason to play a mediocre SEC team.

Now that the SEC is cursed with the aggsy, we are scheduling all of them in order to prove that all Texans aren't like those inbred morons.

Silver lining in losing out on Oregon's AD for the ags: at least they won't be wearing goofball crazy uniforms.

Can you imagine the clash of maroon and crazy Oregon style patterns......maybe with pink or pea color high lights.

Not sure if this was a strategy put in place by CDC or not, but is is brilliant. Texas is playing chess while aggy plays checkers.

One 10+ win season in last 20 years

One top 5 finish in 63 years

Four top 10 finishes in 30 years

One BCS game (1999 Sugar Bowl, which they lost)

Four top 10 recruiting classes ... ever

    76-37-5

One of two CFB programs without a top 4 finish since WW2
Indeed, one of two Power 5 schools that have not finished in final 4 in football, basketball or baseball since WWII - (Northwestern & aggy)

    But they got 1939

The biggest disparity in last 50 years other than NC’s is top 5 finishes.

Sorry, Joe, but if the luggage had lettering on it, that would show Ron Meyer's initials.

SMU's story is that they intercepted the TransAm, added a couple of suitcases, then delivered it to Sealy. I'm relatively sure (like 99%) that is ********. The threat by Meyer to aTm is not ********.

They were the first school to buy a house for a mother, but also got her a better job to help pay the light bill.

Kid hated SMU, and cried when he told us he had to go or they would "take Momma's house back". Kid lasted in Highland Park about 6 weeks.

Someone associated with The University of Texas told Meyer & Collins that if they took her house away and/or she wasn't treated like a queen during her 20 year employment at the fruitcake plant, "we will bury your sorry ***".

If you are referring to Dickerson, I know some shithead Aggies, but Dickerson remains the single most classless, chickenshit waste of humanity I know of. He is such a pathetic excuse for a human being, I'd be ashamed to introduce him to Dion's dog as a representative of the species.

I am aware from past posts of your opinion on Dickerson, which I am in no position to dispute. However, my point is that the recruiters bet correctly on the talent. Then again, it was likely blindingly obvious to everyone so that may not be saying much.

Robin Sendlein's hit on him in Texas Stadium remains one of the greatest in school history; not only did he knock the crap out of Dickerson, but the person foul call by Bill Began got rid of his sorry *** as well.

The most physically brutal football game I have ever attended. At the end of each play, there was no player still on their feet. They were all laying on the Texas Stadiun turf. It was a war. After the game we ate at the Steak'N Ale on Restaurant Row north of Texas Stadium. It was never unusual for me to he hoarse after a game, but I had never been so....exhausted....after a game.

I was so incensed by Began's call and screaming so loud that the zipper on my Wranglers split. Fortunately, my Burnt Orange windbreaker was long enough to cover it.

I remember vividly Rodney Tate going into the endzone but leaving the ball on the 2 yard line. He dove into a flesh pile of 15-20 players and came out of the pile with the ball (thank you, Dana LeDuc). After the game, I asked him how he got to ball, and he said he new if he didn't get it back that he would have to sneak out of Texas Stadium and hitchhike back to Tulsa.
