Trump claimed a person of Cuban descent is from another country??? He said Cruz was born in Canada and he was. Cruz was born in Calgary and at ine point held dual citizenship (from memory). Oh...Trump also never told Cruz to "go back". In fact, he questioned whether he was eligible to be POTUS, not whether he was "from" US or Canada.
The fact that they investigated it tells you it could be more than a silly conspiracy theory by right wing blogs. Personally, I don't know. Time will tell one way or the other.

I still haven't decided what I'll do in 2016. Certainly Trump acts like a jackass much of the time and is sometimes an embarrassment. And of course, our fiscal policy is the worst I've ever seen it. It's definitely not what I'd call "conservative." Basically, it's "cut taxes and spend like drunken teenagers with their dad's American Express card." The Democrats had an opportunity to to be the party of sanity, reasonableness, and behave like adults. But instead of doing that, they looked at Trump and said, "hold my beer." They're doing everything they can to make not voting for Trump as indefensible as possible. They've gone radical economically, fiscally, and socially, and they've coupled it with a smug self-righteousness that is off-putting to no end.
Of course Richard Spencer is a racist. Very easy for me to condemn Spencer. His politics are wildly opposed to mine. In fact, just from a policy standpoint, he's closer to you. He's not a fan of the Christian church. He supports single-payer healthcare, and he's in favor of abortion rights. He's sometimes to the Left of Kamala Harris on healthcare depending on the day of the week. Can I get a ruling on Louis Farrakhan, or will you dance around it like others in your party do?
