Noble Doss Author of what is known as “the impossible catch”, setting up the days only touchdown in a 7-0 victory over A&M in 1940. The loss cost the Aggies a national championship. Watching him in his winter years talk about dropping a sure touchdown pass against Baylor the following year (possibly costing the Horns a natty) really tugs at ones heartstrings. I won’t live to see this but I hope this isn’t Blake Gideon in 50 years.
Thanks, but I’d feel better about your comment if I hadn’t forgotten Bill Hamilton for the third straight year.
Dak Pearson was a really good one. Among the guys who graduated in '04 and didn't get to be part of the title team, I felt worst for him and DJ.
BRENT MUSBERGER - If there is one fla.. [TXNBYBIRTH - Don't you say "flag", Brent. Don't you f***ing say "flag"!!!] ...w with this Oklahoma team, it's special teams. [TXNBYBIRTH - Well done, Brent. You had my heart in your hand for a second there.]
Pearland Oiler Ricky Churchman. All conference 1979. Teamed with a great group of DBs in an era when great defense was the standard.
