There is still two days until the season starts, so I went trolling for CFB content and found this ...

They project another Georgia v. Texas Sugar Bowl. I sure hope that does not happen. I want to kick some new @$$

Maybe its my orange glasses, but I don't see OU making the CFB playoffs ... am I drunk on the orange koolaid?

Well, all I can say is that variety is the spice of life; and therefore I must agree that kicking some "strange" ASSE is mandatory this bowl season. Better Bowl = Better ASSE

Have no idea what OU will turn out to be, (but I think Hurts gives them a better chance to advance than Mayfield or Kyler did), but as the schedule stands today, they will be a double digit favorite in every game except Texas.

And if La Tech turns out to be Maryland, LSU turns out to be LSU and OSU turns out to be OSU, they might be double digit favorites in that one also.

I mistakenly ended up on a bama hammer board recently...solidified my views of SEC:
Apparently teams of the SEC A. Win games without actually playing them (see any year aggy) and B. Accept no excuses for teams they beat (see UT 2009) C. Heavily weight all excuses for themselves in losses* (see 2015 OU vs A and 2018 UT vs UGA) and D. *Do not count games they lose as legitimate games (see C above). Also, E. Only stats and facts which support their views are valid while F. Any stat, analysis or viewpoint is fact if it supports their view but mere opinion if it does not. G. Will get angry, whine and turn aggression towards opposing coach if opposing coaches team kicks their butt after they talked trash leading up to game (see 2017 UT vs Mizzou)
So...if we want to actually play a legitimate game and win, having stats (and score) count and be worthy of an objective analysis of said win, while not having to listen to any whining or derision, We may want to play a non-SEC team.

I will be surprised if OU doesnt lose 2 games during regular season...1 for certain.
    1. They have to replace oline
    2. Kyler was a beast for them last year and won some games himself
    3. Hurts likely will have some adjusting to the Big12 style of play
