    • Jake Smith has huge legs, particularly for a frosh.
    • OL looks stockier, Cosmi and Shack in particular
    • Duvernay going to have killer year
    • Bend don’t break defense at this point
    • Ingram looked good
    • JWhit caused one guy to lose his jock
    • Boyce is improved but still needs work
    • Offense appears much better than last year. Could be best offense since Colt.

We need to find a pass rush by next Saturday or I am going to be walking away with more to whine about than my sore back. The middle was open a lot

The running game is no great shakes either

Way too many missed tackles. 400 yds is not acceptable. That effort isn't going to beat LSU, OU, or OSU.

Well then, we can only hope the team improves from the first game of the year performance.

defense needs to step up its game..........the D will ultimately determine where the ceiling is for this team and 2 (LSU and Okie Lite) of the next 3 games will tell us about this defense.

    1) Cannot stop the short passing game
    2) No pass rush
    3) Blitzes never get to the QB in time
    4) No "breakaway" RB threat
    5) Still cannot get off the field on 3rd and long

    - offense looked good even though there were some issues. Maybe it's just me but they seemed really conservative.
*o-line protected well and made some huge holes
*Sam looked in control but downfield passes could have been sharper
*if our backs can get healthy we my see a prolific running game this year. Keontay looks stronger, able to hit holes better and make moves when there arent holes. RJ did well as a sub.
*Receivers will be awesome as they get more experience. Man they are young.

    - Defense is going to be a problem this year if we dont see some major improvements.
*D-line looks solid in the run stop game but it didnt seem we were able to make much of a push when they needed to put pressure on the qb. The only pressure came with multiple blitzes from LB and secondary.
*The secondary needs serious improvement. There is a ton of youth and lots of talent, but in our conference with our schedule we will lose 4 games due to this unit alone if the rest of the season they look anything like they did last night.

Things are finally going well, we don't need to stop for cancer treatment.

I'm no Orlando fan, but I wouldn't wish that on him.
