Herman calls time out instead of playing the clock trying to be aggressive. Now we spend almost no time on offense and give it back. This drive could be the game.

LSU gets the ball to start 2nd half....20-7 lead....This one is over.... 47- 17 if we can score at all.

I was afraid of this after watching our defense last week

 

I think they are justifiably impressed by how LSU has been playing in the 2nd quarter.

 

And they get the ball to start the second half.

 

Probably have to turn the volume off. Getting tired of hearing about the greatest team in football history playing us.

We don't have the experience to play with these guys yet. This D will be good next year.

 

DB youth exposed but man, the offense and defensive calling is putrid.

 

This game is squarely on coaching decisions trying to be overly aggressive when we didn't need to be against at top 10 team. Herman was trying to be the man and put the game away when the game wasn't in doubt. Now the game has gotten away and LSU gets the ball to start the second half with a chance to destroy us.

Sam hasn't been particularly accurate tonight especially on downfield throws, but other than that we have played really well in spite of coaching decisions. Herman is about to learn a big boy lesson.

 

We keep playing 3 man front and OU will be Big 12 Champions once again, unless OSU can unseat them.

 

50 recruits and we're getting our *** handed to us. 298 yds. let that sink in.

 

This could get out of hand. Lsu does not have to respect our running game, nor should they. So they can just bring the front four on all out pass rush and drop 7 so there is no where to go with the ball

 

Lack of running game is killing us. Thank goodness we have help coming in.

 

We haven't even tried to run. Now we cant so they don't even have to respect it.

 

We've seen some really bone-headed play-calling tonight, especially from the offense. Tim Beck is not the worst OC but we need a better OC if we want to get to the next level.

 

I agree with Vol Horn. Herman has made some monumentally stupid decisions. You gotta take that field goal after you fail to score for the second time. If you haven’t gotten it in in 7 tries, kick it! Then not running out the clock with 1:47 to go when LSU had all the momentum was dumb too. Oh well, let’s pray for a miracle.

 

This one is going south quick. Don't understand the coaching decisions either.

 

The coaching sequence before the half was inexcusable. At worst it should be 13-7. Instead the comeback window has now become extremely narrow.

 

Yeah, I know. Beck's playcallling has been **** tonight.

 

We still have a lot of tools to get back in this.

 

Where's that thread about post game comments? It's pretty accurate about coach Mensa. The players should feel really good about their performance while the coaches have put this team in the perfect position to lose. I can't believe Mensa is being out coached by a *******!
