This belongs on the Prayer List, but no one has posted there in over a year.

A University of Texas graduate and five year veteran of the Houston Police Department was shot three times late last night in an armed confrontation with four violent subhumans in Southeast Houston. He is out of hours of surgery at Herman Hospital and in intensive care in stable condition.

The shooter is dead (shot by a fellow officer), two in custody, and one on the run.

The young officer's father is a 42 year veteran of HPD.

The culprits tried to kill a priest by shooting him in the head at point blank range but the gun misfired TWICE

So many problems relating to violence in the great USA! God Bless his family as well as the USA as we continue to encounter so many issues and seem to have zero unity within our political arenas.

Terrible news. A Thin Blue Line is all that separates us all from evil subhumans like the ones described here. Prayers for him and his family.

I’ll pray for him. 740 AM said he was expected to recover fully. So sorry this happened to him. Just 29 years old!

Horrible. I can't understand why a human would want to take the life another. Prayers out to the family

    AC,

Not to be overly negative, but I think KTRH misinterpreted what the hospital and PC released. While they do expect him to get out of ICU and survive, it has been indicated that "full recovery" may or may not occur.
