Eddie Money has passed away today at age 70 from esophageal cancer. RIP buddy.

I was huge into EM back in the day. I still have 7 albums of his (yes, real vinyl cuz I'm old). I saw him with .38 Special at the Summit in Houston and he stole the show - this was probably about 1982. Just another reminder of my own mortality. Sigh.

Right out of high school I was in a band and we used to play Two Tickets to Paradise. One of my favorite songs from the day. He had such a unique voice and his band was terrific.

    RIP Mr Money

One of the hardest things to cope with as one ages is the loss of those whom mattered, both in your family and circle of living.
RIP EM, lots of singing along with you in my life.

I think El Arroyo missed the mark. It shoulda said, 'Eddie Money has one ticket to paradise.'
