In the first half, Goodwin did not have any catches that I saw, but he had a nice 15-yard run on a double reverse, and he threw great blocks on two other long runs (on one of them he drove his man completely out of bounds). The 49ers started the second half with a TD drive on which Goodwin had three catches. And the 49ers are crushing the Browns so far (28-3) and making Mayfield's life miserable when he drops back. 49ers have great defensive line.

Saw Nick Bosa hurry snowflake and almost sacked him, causing Mayfield RFD to throw it away---what was nice was Bosa imitating waving a flag and then planting it ala ousux at ohio state :yippee:

Paybacks are funny. Poor Mayfield pulled for Gilbert. Just terrible, beyond terrible. Bosa crushed him over and over again and simulated a flag in the field.
And Mayfield threw terrible. Was funnn.
    Will NFL media spin it?

Garrett Gilbert came in and threw one incomplete pass, and had a better QB rating than Mayfield.

Can this week start any better than that national humiliation?

Not a Richard Sherman fan, but that quote is so enjoyable and true that it is worth pasting here:

"What's amazing, and annoying, was him not shaking hands at the beginning. That's some college s---. It's ridiculous. We're all trying to get psyched up, but shaking hands with your opponent -- that's NFL etiquette. And when you pull bush league stuff, that's disrespectful to the game. And believe me, that's gonna get us fired up."

"Respect the game," Sherman said, referencing Mayfield's pregame behavior. "You can have rivals, but pay your respect in that moment -- especially when you're young.

"He hasn't earned anything in this league. How many games has he won? He's acting like he was the MVP last year. If (Patrick) Mahomes did that, it would be one thing. But he would never do that, because he has too much respect for the game.

"And when you see a guy who doesn't? You humble him every chance you get. Because eventually, he will have respect for the league -- or he'll be out of it."

I wasn't sure how the game could get better after 4 Mayfield turnovers, but Gilbert coming it did it. Now learning this fact makes it even better!!

I was actually thinking about that hit to the wall...there are some articles that trace a change in Ant. Brown to a Burfict hit. Almost makes me wonder if some of Maybefield's decision making snafus are a product of the hit to his head as it met the wall...

Not buying it. This guy has been a complete ***hole for a very long time. He’s an unusually self absorbed jerk, and the sponsors that are paying him to endorse their products are in for a costly lesson. We have all known the type, and they rarely if ever change. I’m thrilled that the League — the players — get it.

As I have said from the beginning, I don’t believe that it will end well for Special Snowflake.

Baker Mayfield is a cocky little SOB who represents the state of Texas poorly. I cant believe he was born and raised in Austin.
