Ginger Baker, drummer for Cream and later Blind Faith, Hawkwind, and a number of other bands has passed. Cream really merged American blues into an English electric hard rock sound. They were trailblazers, loaded with talent, and Baker was at the center of it. And, of course, without Cream, there may not have been many other later hard rock and heavy metal bands. RIP.
