Wow, I'm thinking the opposite. We've given up over 40 points per game the last two weeks and I'm thinking the over looks like easy money. We play like we did last night and we can darn near cover the thing on our own.
I know the Horns pooped all over the field last night, but how does TCU open as a favorite? Oh yeah, I forgot, Texas doesn't play defense. (Disclaimer: yes, that was a cheap shot laid at the feet of the Texas defense. C'mon D, you're better than that!)
TCU probably has at least half of its starters who feel wronged they weren't recruited by Texas. That and our lousy D, I don't have much confidence in Texas beating them in Fort Worth.
I told Ms. Sapo last night somewhere around the time Kansas crossed 40 points, "Another reason why this game is a total **** show is.. keep in mind here that none of these guys were offered scholarships by Texas. Because if they'd had that choice they wouldn't be at Kansas.". She said I was mean. I told her no, I'm just right.

What about Chris Brown or Josh Thompson? Would you play Green knowing he couldn’t tackle with one of his shoulders?
Patterson sure has caught a lot of crap on these boards over the years. He's a darn good coach who gets more from less than just about anyone. He can also identify the diamonds in the rough that UT, OU, etc. wouldn't even give the time of day to. He's like a younger, sweatier Bill Snyder. Not to worry--Sam's sheer force of will, if nothing else, should get us the W on Saturday.
