TD RJ and the Horns take the lead for the first time today: 28-21

 

I've run out of things to do so I turned on the game. I was hoping to not do this for sanity sake. Looks like we are back to offense scoring and defense letting the opposing offense score. What has changed in the game?

 

Man I tell you..that play.. the run by Sam.. was a perfectly constructed run play

 

Loved the Dirty Dancing bit

Shorter field now. I think we coach and play scared sometimes....and it doesnt pay to do anything out of fear in my experience.

Nice job following through with the QB there! I feel like our DE's are built for strip sacks.

Pretty amazing turnaround from where this game was after 7 minutes. We've outscored them 28-7 since then. Even with lots of brainfarts on both sides.

Tech gets ball to start half...... We had 2 OTs and 20 seconds and needed only 30 yards to get in FG range...At least TRY one play before you give up.....WTH ???

No but we did make some scrambled eggs and bacon on an old school grill earlier.

 

Normally I'm in favor of being aggressive there, but in the wet conditions I get it at least, since even our XPs have been shaky.

I hope we keep throwing the ball to Duvernay. He's the man Along With Sam in our offense. I do want him to go high in the draft

I think Duvernay might be the only Longhorn to go in the first 3 rounds. Someone will take a flyer on Roach and Collin Johnson from rounds 4-7. Jones, Shack, Braun, McCulloch, Wilbon, and Chisholm will probably get some FA looks.
