Of course, South Carolina already beat Baylor (playing w/o L Cox) over the Thanksgiving weekend.
SAT NIGHT UPDATE -- Now 5-2 Big 12 as A&M beat Ok State 74-62 in College Station. Ok State kept it tight during the first half. In the second half, Chennedy Carter started to take over. I think it was the second half when A&M started to dominate more on the boards also. Obviously Tennessee and Mississippi State are heavily favored in tomorrow's games. Kansas is favored over Florida.
Great week for the Big 12. Big 12 stomping the SEC in the conference challenge. Texas 66, Tennessee 60 at Tennessee West Virginia 71, Mississippi 65 at MSST Kansas leading Florida 62-55 midway through the 4th quarter
I have to say I am pleasantly shocked. Pleasantly! Of the 10 games, the only truly expected wins for the B12 were Baylor and Iowa State. The wins by Oklahoma over LSU, UT over the fake UT, and WV over MSU are shocking to me based on how those teams had played up until today. These are also the first quality non-conference wins by any Big 12 teams other than Baylor. I was seriously starting to worry that the Big 12 might be a 1-bid conference this year if no one could step up and beat a good team out of conference.
And we thought Texas had offensive issues...Missouri got walloped 68-33 by Princeton last night. They are 3-9 on the season with wins against Western Illinois, SIU-Edwardsville and Saint Louis. Program has definitely lost a lot of the momentum created by the Sophie Cunningham era. Some recognizable names on that roster including 1-time Longhorn target Haley Troup and 2019 Top 10 Aijha Blackwell.
