Another de-commit....Flips to Utah. Was probably going to end up a slot receiver to replace Smith when he left for the NFL, etc. Not now.

Really wanted Ty. He would work well, complementing Bijan. :confused2:

I saw that on the 247 site. Thought is was interesting that he decommitted and our class rank went up from #7 to #6, looks like most of our guys are 4 and 5 stars now. Could be academics as well and the firing and reassigning of coaches is a convenient excuse to jump before the grades become an issue. Not the case always, but it is probable. I just think most of the jumpers are only concerned with how much PT they will have, and see themselves playing in the NCG, or doing three to go make big money in the league.

    The oxymoron of recruiting.

I want to start immediately. I want to play for a National Championship. I don’t want you to recruit anyone better than me. .

When he looked at Bijan, Whittington and Ingram, and maybe Harrison, he probably saw himself as a specialty role player instead of a first tier back and/or receiver. Lots more opportunity for field time at Utah.

And do not forget Rising was his host. Yeah, the two year redshirt guy who has never played a down of college ball. Talk about an influencer.
