I'm being a bit dramatic even though I know tonight's game is meaningless in this season of mediocrity, but this could seal the deal on how terrible this season will actually be. Texas is -5 vs KSU tonight and we are 4-9 against the spread. That doesn't mean we lose tonight, but certainly doesn't give me much hope for a victory. ESPN gives Texas a 71.6% chance of winning but I personally say ESPN is full of crap because I think our best chance of winning any conference game is a 50/50 shot this year. I cant find a game left on our schedule that I would say "That's a for sure win!".

I guess tonight is one of those games where if the 3's fall we win and if they don't we lose.

Another great victory for our 11-4 Horns.

How many more victories do you all think the Horns need to get an NCAA invitation? (not that it matters, I think they go one and done. I pose the question for discussion purposes)
I think they need 8 more to get to 19 wins.

The non conference schedule was so weak, that they need to have a winning record in conference. Don’t see any way that is happening unless the three point shooting stays above 40% for the rest of the season. The problem is that Shaka has no offense to help get good shots in some kind of flow and no answer to jump start a struggling offense. Horns were picked to finish 4th in conference this year. Instead they will battle ksu, osu, and tcu for place 7-10. Hard to find more than six wins and none a given. Good chance they go 0-fer against Kansas, tech, bailor, Huggy bear, and now blow u with the loss at home. Iowa State would be a split at best as that is traditionally a hard place to win.

Nice win! They played well in the second half.

I suppose it depends on who we beat. Our signature win is against Purdue who is now 10-7 and unranked...soooo not sure we will really have anything to brag about. In my opinion it'll come down to if we can get to 20 wins or not which would have to include a signature win or two like Kansas, WVU or Tech. If we win 18 or 19 games without beating anyone in the top half of the conference I'm not sure we get in. Like you said, not that it matters though.

I'm sorry, but all I could think when I saw the post about how many wins would it take to make the tournament was that Jim Mora press conference and his "PLAYOFFS.....I just hope we can win a game"

Oh, who knows? This team is really hard to figure out. I am sure Purdue is saying the same thing about their team. At least their fans show up. I really miss the days when Texas had a guard or small forward that could actually take over a game. I think the last players like that were Isaiah Taylor or even Jacovan Brown. I could be wrong of course.

Both of those were very good, and put their imprint on a game. They played with teams that could occasionally establish a rhythm. That would be good to see again.
