Until your people put on some real evidence (which they should have done in the House), the push to remove is about as mindless as a chant.

Atkinson did testify in the secret room
    There is a transcript
But Schiff has been hiding it all this time, still has never released it
    Why is that?
House Democrats conceal testimony of 18th witness from Trump team

This is pretty amusing -- So Trump delayed US aid to the Ukraine for 55 days in 2019. The funding for that aid was authorized in 2018 in the 'National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2018.'
Actions - H.R.2810 - 115th Congress (2017-2018): National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2018

Three of the Democrat House Impeachment Managers voted against that aid package to the Ukraine -- Rep. Jerrold Nadler (D-NY), Rep. Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY) and Rep. Zoe Lofgren (D-CA). 70 House Dems in total voted against it.

These people are such frauds. Should they all be impeached?

Ought to wear a condom on his head. If he's going to act like a dick head, he might as well dress like one.

I guess if you're naive enough to buy into MSM polls more power to ya.

@Joe Fan Schiff is a dick head. That's what I meant. Your pic of his shadow made me think that.

And if you buy into the RCP average, the MSM polls don't even support removal.

Yep. However, like most libs LongestHorn is only paying attention to that one CNN poll that called for removal. No other polls really matter or exists to them. Facts be damned.

To me, the eyes emoticon has multiple meanings besides "wtf." I see it as also a humorous "raised eyebrows" or "tell me more" or "you dont say"

IMO, the poop emoji is also subject to multiple meanings

I'm still not understanding how it is a problem to withhold aid. Are we obligated? Congress authorized it ... but Congress is bought/paid-for anyway. How can we have so many millionaires on barely 6 figure salaries???

Anyhow ... Biden knows what he did. He may not understand how crooked he is ... but he knows what he did and he volunteered to run for POTUS.

Trump has a responsibility to the taxpayer to ensure the funds aren't being wasted.
the investigation was rightly ordered regardless of Biden's candidacy status.

On top of this Bolton's statement doesn't mean anything because Ukraine has said repeatedly that they were unaware of any money being held up.

I said this many times: it was held up internally for multiple reasons, one of which was to allow more time to ask Ukraine about corruption. However, it wasn’t held up externally for Ukraine to know about it. How hard is this to understand? It’s like paying a contractor late to make sure the job was done.

For most people it's common sense. Unfortunately, libs don't have much of that.

It is claimed the leak was by the book’s publishers to gin up sales. The actual quotes in the book may not be anything more than what has been testified to by the deep state bureaucrats.

It's not a per se problem to withhold aid. The issue is why the aid was withheld. If it was withheld to bring pressure to investigate corruption (including Biden and involvement in the 2016 election), that isn't a problem. (I recognize that the media and the Democrats are framing everything as though any attempt to investigate a Democrat for anything is impeachable. That is nonsense.) However, if it was only about digging up dirt to screw with Biden in 2020, that is a problem. Intent is everything. It's a nuanced issue, which is why testimony from people who dealt directly with Trump is essential and why the failure to secure that testimony in the House is so indefensible.

The fact that the aid was ultimately released could be a defense except for one thing. The aid wasn't released until the **** hit the fan. If none of this had become a political story, would the aid have been released? Who knows? I don't think it's crazy to assume that it wouldn't have been.

And of course, there was a right way to do this. Instead of having a private and informal investigation into the 2016 election with Giuliani and a gang of thugs involved, Barr could have ordered a normal DOJ investigation into the matter. Could Ukraine have resisted? Sure, but holding up aid to leverage an above-board DOJ investigation is a hell of a lot easier to defend than holding it up to leverage a shadow investigation run by "Icepick Rudy" and a bunch of dudes from The Godfather. Might Democrats still impeach over it? They'd likely try, but a vote to impeach would be harder for red-district Democrats to defend. Even if they went along, Cipollone and Sekulow would certainly have easier jobs right now.

That may be true, and Bolton can clear all of that up by testifying. It's hard to say, "I can't testify because of executive privilege, but for $34.99, you can get the whole story in a nice hardcover book."
