WOW! Man, that's sad. One story says only him, another says his 4 daughters were on board with him.

Young boy, 1980 I believe, Lakers down by 25 at half vs Spurs. I was furious. Stormed out of house and just walked. Found railroad tracks in small country town I grew up in and walked on rail until I fell off. Five miles maybe.

Went back home, turned tv on and my Lakers were up. Got on my knees and vowed I would never abandon them again. Remember it like it was yesterday. Silly I know, but man the Lakers have brought me so much joy. Even had my hair styled like Pat Riley.

I'm not much for wearing player jerseys, but own 3. Spud Webb, Kareem, and #8 -Mr. Kobe Bryant.

Thanks for the joy. RIP Kobe and Daughter. :hookem:

I rarely agree with Keith Olbermann on anything but this one time I do think he is correct

The news during the half time of the Pro Bowl stated that Kobe and his 13 year old daughter died in the crash along with one of his daughter's teammates and the parent of the teammate. Assume the 5th person was the pilot.

"not playing basketball" sounds like about the polar opposite of what Kobe Bryant would find honoring.

So incredibly sad for his family. Prayers for them and the families of the other passengers.
