And we already have seven 2021 commits, including Milroe, Harris, Bowman, Conner and Sanders (who could be a 5-star)

 

We added two players today -- could have been 4 but we missed on Rakestraw and Princely U.

Collins is a 5-star according to 247 (probably the best of the ratings services), but he is still a 4-star in the Composite. His score from Rivals (the worst of the ratings services) is what keeps him from being a Comp 5-star. He is #2 at his position nationally (per 247). His mom was a very good BBall player for us.

Dixon is a 4-star and is probably slotted for WR. His brother is Ingram. He has great speed (4.3) and is rated between #12-15 nationally at the ATH position. He has Whittington type versatility. I think he could probably be a great DB if he wanted. And he could play RB in a pinch too.

I’m satisfied with our 2020 class. To
me it’s about quality, not quantity, and I like our quality. For the most part we shored up areas that were thinning, and added potentially great talent at RB, QB, DL and OL.

Not perfect, but not bad either.

Unless he got a lot bigger and more experienced, not sure he will fit on the Texas roster.

Ooooops! 4 Straight CFP losses. King of the One-and-Done, and with the Heisman winner two of those four trips.

I hope they fall off the B12 mountain this year.

If you could pick between nailing 4 women rated as a 5, or 2 women rated as a 10, which do you pick? Keep in mind, both add up to 20? It's just how you get there.

Enough said. The difference between the #6 aggy class and the #9 Texas class is that Texas took 4 guys ranked as 3'star prospects while the aggys took 9 or 10.

Both got 15 highly rated top end guys, but Texas didn't fill up on bread.

Not too bad for a class size of 19.

Coach seems like a likeable dude.

 

this was not the year of "errabody."

we missed out on elite skill players we normally get WR, CB, S, but got solid players there. We got really good to solid players across the board though, with a few elite.

we didn't enter the Texas player commitments until #7 (247). The top 6 in Texas are not horns. that's got to be a bummer. no way around it.

I think solid coaching this year should bring us back to the top 5. we're in good position for 2021 already unless we slide even more on the field. I'd be just fine with 3 or 4 of the top 5 next year.

i like our guys though. like our preferred walk-ons as well.

Collins is so good he has a good shot to be starting as a true freshman in the new 4-man front (assuming this is what we actually do)

Going to a 4 man front our DL should look something like this.

SDE - Alfred Collins (backed by Warren)
DT - Keondre Coburn (backed by Sweat, Broughton, Ojomo)
DT - Ta'quon Graham (better suited here than DE)(backed by Carson)
WDE - Joseph Ossai (backed by Bimage, Vaughns,Mpagi)​

We are light at DE since we recruited for 3-man fronts. Also light at LB

 

There are only about two linebackers in the transfer portal that can help us. I would be surprised if Ash is not evaluating them already.
