Down here in Region 4 26 6A is the toughest by far. What is so sad, is South San High was thrown in this district. I just feel sorry for them. Those poor kids are going to show up every game and play their hearts out and still get drilled every week by 60 pts. It's going to be like the Little Giants where they are just happy to get a yard.

Waco is in for the same thing. They aren't the Lions of old, and will get killed in the district with DeSoto and Duncanville in football.

That district is ridiculous for football.

One thing I'd like to see is city districts, where the district consists of all the teams in the same city. You could have a district for teams in the cities of Waco, Dallas, Ft Worth, Arlington, Mansfield, Austin, etc. A city champion would be crowned by the mayor. Some teams that should be 5A would get the 6A classification, and vice versa, to play with the teams in the same city. That would really spur some interest in urban/big-suburban HS football in this State.

Yeah, I think they brought in politicians with plenty of experience in gerrymandering.

Southlake should not be in our district. Our schools are just a glorified scrimmage game against them.
