Texas v Lamar February 19, 2020

Horns host a second mid week game today at the Disch, early 4 p.m. start time because of the basketball game. Texas looking to start season on five game winning streak.

 

Yeah, can't have conflicts with the thousands upon thousands who are sure to want in the FEC to see our basketball team.

Now through 5.

 

Horns win 6-1 to run their record to 5-0 with Boise State coming in for three game set this weekend.

 

Some highlights:

 

I saw a stat in the 6th or 7th that the first year players were 6 of 11 so far (reaching base) in that game---a good way to join the club, newbies!!

 

Good wins against decent mid week competition

 

The performance of the new players has been very encouraging. I'm developing a very strong fondness for Trey Faltine.
