Here is what 247 said about Bowman
Billy Bowman Jr., ATH, Denton (Texas) Ryan: We will repeat ourselves here with Bowman, a teammate of Sanders who also provided outstanding two-way production considering how many snaps he had to play going both ways, not to mention his usual impact on special teams. Bowman moved up more than 100 spots in the Top247 from No. 146 to No. 37 on the updated rankings. The 5-foot-10, 175-pound Bowman is a high-major prospect at receiver or in the secondary, but we think his higher ceiling is likely on defense, where Bowman could possibly move around the secondary in multiple roles.
Bowman caught 54 passes for 824 yards and 17 TD's in 2019, when he added 55 tackles, two tackles for loss, one sacks, two forced fumbles, and three interceptions, which he returned for touchdowns (he also returned a punt for a score). Bowman's overall athletic profile is aided further by his participation in basketball and track and field, where he ran several sub-11.00 100-meter times as a sophomore, long jumped almost 23 feet, and ran on Ryan's state-qualifying 4x100 relay squad. Like Sanders, Bowman is one of the best pure football players and athletes in the Lone Star State in this class.
