Demolition of a building near downtown Dallas failed to drop the structure. Now the part which remains standing won't fall. A crane with wrecking ball has been trying to knock it down with no luck. Comments have come from as far away as Italy laughing at the situation. Here's a link to the story: Leaning Tower Of Dallas: Implosion Fails To Take Down Uptown Office Building
I thought of that as I looked at the huge Lloyd Nabors Demolition sign next to the not demolished elevator tower. supposedly they are pulling it down today
Well, perhaps they should sub out that job, you know, just to make sure their sign actually comes down.
Instead of making fun of Nabors, how about bringing forward the architect who designed it, and the contractor who built it. We know it isn't the group that built the Allen football stadium.
It was live streamed. The outer part of the building fell, but the interior (elevators) only leaned over some. They brought in a crane with a wrecking ball and were trying to knock it over. There were several misses. IT became a hilarious exercise, especially wit the news commentators laughing. I was some good entertainment, I'll give them that.
