Ehlinger stayed healthy this year even when the line broke down or played miserably. Since this was his first uninjured year since junior high, he might have picked up a few things along the way.
You got a bet. I have been known to drive to Austin just to eat there and visit with MaryAnn, David, and Renee.
I want to bring up Casey Thompson again. Really think some people here are sleeping on him. I put it at about 65/35 that he gets next shot at QB1 after Sam and then makes it real difficult on the (very strong) competitors behind him to get in. The piece below has little to do with my reasons for posting, but I ran across it yesterday. If you want a piece with a more comprehensive take on CT, I've posted one a month or so ago somewhere. Search me and "Casey Thompson "....or Google. If you want the jest of the below it is that out of Thompson, Rattler, Rising, and Mordecai, Thompson was ou's first choice at QB during that cycle and was given first dibs but balked. Longhorns QB Casey Thompson was nearly a Sooner Cliffsnotes version without having to listen to ou homers on video Texas Football: Casey Thompson was close to playing for OU
Thompson was kind of persona-non-grata throughout a bunch of OK HS circles because of how everyone handled the move from Southmoore to Newcastle. His assistant coach got the job at Newcastle and then suddenly Thompson and some other skill position player up and move there. And it's like across the highway from OU. I think a bunch of colleges took a step back from recruiting him at that point, including OU.
Well we know mc loves all things Horns SO I am guessing he has fat fingers and meant to hit like. If I am wrong mc has to 'splaining to do
May be.... But the insiders from ou were saying they definitively knew Thompson was their 1st choice and it was he that balked...not they. Can't see much reason for them to come w/ that info now if not true...especially since he's wearing burntO.
I've written on other threads, I believe 2020 should be a minimum of 9-3 for the regular season and maybe as high as 11-1. 2021 or 2022 might be our year. The upside is we didn't see not only the seniors make their exit along a number of good players leave after their junior year as we've seen in the past. We have a greater amount of experience returning, along with hungry talented players who want to play hard, and a revamped coaching staff with coaches with proven experience and have won big games consistently. It can go either way.
I know someone... sharing for a friend... who has over 50 eyesight and looks on here at traffic stops. He tells me that the emojis are little on his phone and he clicks the wrong one sometimes.
I was not wearing my readers and was trying to send a thumbs up emoji to my daughter. I sent her the middle finger instead. Now we flip each other off after each text.
Conference Title* or Bust *or, failing that, just preventing Blow U from getting another conference title, please FIFY
Team is wearing a big "?" on their backs this off-season...Stands for we don't know what the hell to expect ?
