    I'm with you, Moon.
If you are a generational talent like that...by all means.
The problem today is young guys who havent proven jack and are top quarter CFB guys who think and act like they are 2%ers, and it leads them to make dumb decisions.
It is their right and prerogative...but that doesn't make it wise or prudent.
If you want to act and make decisions like a 2% you better make sure you can back it up.
This isn't just advice for college athletes...for a pro example look at Dez.
Wouldn't take a pay cut to stay in Dallas, turned down 21mil. from Baltimore, and now is on the outside looking in with no paycheck acting like a beggar. His "X" will be real cool in the XFL.

Some site said he did a 4.39 tied for 2nd fastest with someone else, but all I saw was a 4.40. But he was faster than all the other WR. Ruggs (UA) did a 4.28. Mims (BU) did a 4.4 also.

Both of his times I saw were 4.40, but later one was corrected to 4.39. Other's times were too, but laser timed so ..... ?

What the heck does this particular bit demonstrate beyond what's already on film?

This is sort of a tough year for Collins and Duvernay to come out. This is supposed to be one of the deeper WR drafts of all time. Ive read starting WRs will be found in the 5th round

Also leads to an interesting prop bet - will teams hold off using their 1st round pick on a WR, knowing this class is so deep?

The more I see NFL reports on Johnson and Duvernay, the more convinced I am that Duvernay will be taken (relatively early for him) and used a lot by a team, whereas Johnson will be more of a project. He's big, he's got hands, but I don't think NFL GMs trust that he can stay healthy or make a bigger difference than the existing 6'5" projects they already have on the roster.

They've been looking at the film of Duvernay and see a guy who can dish out the hits and still make plays with his hands and feet. Like a Steve Smith sort of guy. His LSU clips alone are making the Ravens' scouting department drool.

I'm still semi-convinced that Jones won't be taken, but that clip they released of him watching all 32 teams' defenses while he rehabbed was a good move. He's obviously smart. I just don't think he was any better for us than Dylan Haines.

Roach/Shack are probably UFA's. Roach impressed with his workouts, but if it moved the needle at all, he'll be 6th/7th round at best because of his lack of explosive film. Shack will get pulled on to a roster as an emergency C, and since there's been a run on OL injuries lately, I think he'll make a team. Or at least the practice squad until the inevitable injury.

Ken Stabler, Boomer Esiason, and Steve Young call BS on the left-handed comment. The medical history is the big issue. I hope some adult has prepared Tua for a possible big-time slide in the draft.

Lot of good that trade did for either franchise. That one will go down in history as the last "Herschel Walker" style trade, ever. Today, a top-5 first round pick might only net you 2 first rounders, total.

Wonderlic scores for 2020 NFL Draft quarterbacks
    • Nate Stanley: 40
    • Justin Herbert 39* (previously 25)
    • Jake Fromm: 35
    • Joe Burrow: 34
    • Jake Luton: 33* (29)
    • Brian Lewerke 30* (25)
    • Jordan Love: 27
    • Anthony Gordon: 25
    • Jacob Eason: 23
    • James Morgan: 23
    • Jalen Hurts: 21* (18)
    • Tua Tagovailoa: 19* (13)

MORE: The highest, lowest Wonderlic test scores in NFL history.

There is a well-researched article on this on Medium if you are interested. Mixed views on it. Threshold level for any real high-level success chances seems to be 25+.

    I'll add
Tom Brady had a 33 and highest ever at QB position Ryan Fitzpatrick with a 48 (this is out of 50 possible)

    Lowest ever by a QB??
Uuhhh...let's not answer that question please...

The Wonderlic has no more weight on how a QB will perform in the NFL than the 40 yard dash. I think Dan Marino scored like a 14. The thing about the wonderlic is that if you haven't seen the test before you are going to do poorly. This is why when people take it the second time they know what to expect and do much much better.

VY didn't give a **** when he took it. I'd wager all of those low-scorers didn't, because if they did, they'd pull a 17-20 without critically thinking about any of the answers. It doesn't help his case that he flamed out in bust-like fashion. Had he scored a 30 on it, he still probably would have had the same issues with Jeff Fisher, unorthodox throwing style, decision making skills, etc.

    Gronk to Tampa
    go figure

Brady could/should have targets of Mike Evans, Chris Godwin, OJ Howard and the Gronkster. Arguably the best set of pass catchers of his career. Capable coach too.
But does he still have the arm?

I think most pundits would tell you that NE's OL was on a slide the past few years, while TB's was trending up this season. I don't know if that necessarily means TB's is "better" than NE's right now, but Lord knows Brady makes better throwing decisions than Winston, no matter how hard Winston was chunking it.

Evans is due to have a little decline because Brady won't be able to get him the ball that far downfield. But I think TB will fare well for a little while. I just don't think they can compete with New Orleans. Even if they finished 2nd in the division, it would be a distant 2nd, and with an extra playoff spot, they'd probably still miss that too.
