As a very frequent traveler, me either. And by the way, my mentor taught me back in 1990 to thank both the flight attendants and the pilots after every flight. They are an integral part of me being successful in business. :hookem:

I used to fly a lot as well. IMO, you left out -- a good source for gfs. When I almost lived on a plane, United and Delta were the best for that.

These days I only fly 3-4 times a years but I used to fly 6-7 times a year. Never in my life have I encountered a rude flight attendant, even in the face of some incredibly rude passengers. Pilots must have been pretty good too. Never even been in one plane crash.

They aren't all rude. The old ladies are kinda pissy, but the gay guys are usually pretty flamboyant and, well, gay. They're typically pretty pleasant to deal with.

My last few years working before I retired, I flew a lot. At DFW, it's very difficult to get anywhere without flying American Airlines. They did get me where I needed to go - always safely, mostly close to on time, and rarely pleasant. I'm glad I don't have to fly any more - TSA has made it a first-rate pain in the neck.

One thing I have learned is that if you actually work on your flight, they are more responsive to your needs, like asking if you want more coffee or tea.

Trump got hold of one million of those Big Blue Coupon books and is using them on all the hospital workers. Except in California and New York, they get MREs that expired last year.

I have extreme doubts that Biden will be the nominee. Despite my doubts, I don't think the Dems can run anybody who would beat Trump in November.

If not Biden or Sanders then who? If the Democrats had someone better they would already be in public. The Presidential election is in 7 months.

I thought Buttigieg might have the right style, but he didn't.

Look at how they have jumped all over the place in the past year over who is "the one". Today they are pimping Cuomo. They are into the flavor of the month.

Democrats seem to realize they are not going to win the next presidential election. Their candidate of choice can’t form a coherent sentence and doesn’t know where he is half the time.

But they do have a plan. As Rahm Emanuel said --
“You never let a serious crisis go to waste. And what I mean by that it’s an opportunity to do things you think you could not do before.”
Emanuel was paraphrasing Saul Alinsky who wrote - “in the arena of action a threat or a crisis becomes almost a precondition to communication" ... “strike and beat down fortune through skilled action.” Alisky himself took this from Machiavelli's "The Prince." But it's all the same thing.

The Dems are currently in their own crisis, inside a larger crisis the country and even the entire world is facing. So how are they going to take advantage of this crisis? By pushing a scheme that will let them steal the next election with easily forged absentee ballots.

Visiting Asian businessmen must really f@$&ing hate flying our domestic airlines. They generally have to when going between two US cities.

I can't speak for them, but I know Europeans try to avoid US carriers. They associate them with bad service and crummy food. They'll still fly on them, but they aren't the first choice.

Honestly, I don't entirely agree. Yes, Lufthansa (and pretty much everybody) has more attractive flight attendants than American Airlines. However, on international flights AA at least seems to use pretty good and pretty friendly flight attendants. It's still 50 year old ladies and gay guys, but they're good at what they do. On domestic flights, the Euro carriers put us to shame, except British Airways. I've been on them a few times, and I'm not impressed at all.

Milano might actually break the meter this time. She says she supposes her personal friend Joe Biden is entitled to due process, something she was not willing to allow for Brett Kavanaugh

How ironic would it be if the Democrats proved Trump right about the deep State narrative...which is essentially what would be demonstrated if the DNC chose to ignore their two candidates with the most delegates...

And then you would rinse your mouth out with soap.

I think there is something to this. My brother-in-law was pretty liberal when he married my sister. He was a big Clinton voter in 1992, and I frequently argued politics with him. In '96 he voted for Dole and hasn't voted Democratic since. I asked him why the big change. His answer was, "your sister banged conservatism into me."
