If he doesn't mean political leanings or Covid 19 germs.... better get working definition IM or off line.... just sayin'

Discussion of "schedule swaps" -- For example, Alabama is talking to TCU about replacing USC who they have set for Week 1 (in Arlington). TCU is scheduled to play Cal on the same date - Sept 5 Report: Schools are already discussing schedule swaps (Updated) - FootballScoop
I know a couple Ducks fans.... Buckeyes coming to Eugene is / was biggest game coming there in a long long time.
It is about to get real interesting in the world of CFP when things start breaking between schools/programs/conferences/states/ counties/municipalities on this issue. According to JFs posted tweet from the NCAA there will be at least that one less entity involved in how things wash out. I'm guessing the case of UT/Texas/Austin/Big12 is shaking up to be one of the more interesting "battlefields" for the issue to play out.
Why can’t they play at a palatial HS stadium in Texas? Called stadium shopping. Good for recruiting for out of state schools. Normally not a fan of this, but would allow it this time.
A snipit from Inside Texas “...it’s no different than a small business. You either let them earn, or the government needs to give them relief. Del Conte wants to get them back to work like anyone else running a business......with the money being spent on construction and the economy and energy sector where it is, you have to play this season to save future seasons.”
Two months ago, I assumed people making this argument didn't know about COVID-19's astonishing rate of spread, how contagious it is, the high death rate, and so on. So I'd reply to something like this with facts and figures. At this point, I assume people making this argument aren't the type of people who concern themselves with trifles like "facts" or "math" or what the "experts" have to say. So I don't bother.
I sure hope we play because I think we are going to be very successful as in at least 11-1. The d-line is going to be lights out tough. Secondary is experienced with future draft picks. Linebackers is our weak link in the chain but they are solid and experienced. Overall it's a very good defense better than most. Offense should be better than last year's with apologies to Duvernay but with new comers -a healthy Whittington, Black and Robinson and a strong o-line with depth we will can and will control the clock and score points. The unknown (almost) is the new coordinators. I feel good about both. I think the defense will be more about keeping the ball in front of you and controling your area. Man I hope we play this season!
Thanks for sharing.... this SI article is the best and most interesting I've read so far about the issue. So it looks like a decision(s) will have to be made by July 1 or at the very latest July 15.
