Very little content about current/incoming Longhorns due to the shelter in place. Thought this might be a convenient way to get a mini-‘fix’ if you’re experiencing withdrawals...

Didn't know where else to put this but just to bring some good news during this time... Brooke McCarty had her first child earlier today:yippee:

So, perhaps this has been discussed and I just didn't see it. What is the current status of the season? My understanding is that UT is planning to have a fall semester (my son is a freshman, so extremely interested), but then not return to campus after Thanksgiving. It would seem to me that this would severely impact the basketball season. What are the current thoughts on how this will work?

From what has been said so far there will be a season & there will be a fall semester with limitations of course. Alot of classes will have an online option if students choose to do so. As far as basketball and other sports, as far as I know seasons are supposed to be going on as planned.

In the NCAA and the Pandemic thread, I posted a link from Twitter where Andy Katz interviews NCAA staff. They cover a lot of topics including the start of the basketball season. Their thoughts at that time were basketball season might need to start in 2021.
