#90 Malcom Brown. 2014 All-American, All-Big 12, team captain. He is the last Longhorn player to be drafted in the first round (this will hopefully be the last time I have to type this regarding this player).
#89 Charlie Talbert. Taking down Heisman Trophy winner Roger Staubach in the ‘64 Cotton Bowl. The defense that day held Roger the Dodger to a negative 47 yards rushing. Member of a great Longhorn family.
Don, Charlie & Diron from Texas City, home of Long Gone Dupree. I have been told that you couldn't get near the stadium when Dupree faced off against King Hill & the Freeport Exporters
Not many remember that Cotton came out of Port Arthur as a RB averaging over 10 yards a carry his senior year. If you know him, ask him about "offering" to drive Worster's car on the return trip to Austin.
Don't know him and unlikely I would meet him... so was Worster over-served or something. IM if you prefer to respond that way.
#87 Pete Lammons, Jacksonville, Texas. Shown here in the 1964 Cotton Bowl. Consensus All-SWC 1964, Longhorn Hall of Honor 2002. Won a natty with the ‘Horns in 63 and a Super Bowl with the Jets in 69.
Patrick McNamara #87 He lives in San Antonio now and works for a guy I know. He played on some bad teams unfortunately.
Man, what we need right now is a Horns football game to escape all the current madness in the world... # 86, Lil' bro to BIG Earl - Tim Campbell
Defensive MVP of the Bluebonnet Bowl against a Colorado with 15 (???) future NFL players including three TEs
