There is a reciprocal side to inflation. It could be called the Cantillon Effect. Or Stagflation. Basically, see Japan. I went on a Bitcoin fact-finding mission a couple of years ago. I'd still need more info before committing. I like the concept but, like most anything else re: money, I hesitate to dive in too deeply.
I hope there is no season for any sports. I am a big fan of college football and I watch 2-3 games each Saturday. But I do not want the spoilers to use this platform on game days to turn me off from the sport. The professional athletes have already lost me and I relish in the thought of them losing a paycheck. I will not let my selfishness as a spectator get in my way of wanting the right thing for the long term livelihood of sporting events in this country. If we take a break from athletics then maybe the silent athletes who are being intimidated to go along, such as in the Drew Brees case, will step up. Maybe college boys and girls will appreciate what they had. People are blaming the owners AND the players for the impasse in professional baseball. Since the owners are the money boys, they need to get the say on how they spend their money. Players are like gov’t workers, living off the taxpayer, they fund nothing. Back in the day people were not quick to take their kids to the doctor. They used home remedies first. Then came the enema. All of the bad was flushed from the body (system). It is time for the enema!

Get rid of owners, no dinero. No dinero, no players. Players are the perform resource. Move the money to another perform resource, players can still play, for free. Owners still making money, maybe not in sports. In a free market system capital moves. In other systems, freedom of choice, not so important. Impede my ability to make money, I move my capital. JJ and those like him get pushed around by their perform resource for one reason only, no stones! Oversimplification? Yea.

I literally don't care if sports ever comes back. I can remember my grandfather watching baseball on TV back in the 70's and thought how nice it would be to retire and have that as something to enjoy. Weird how I don't need it now, but that happened long ago; PED's... same with the Tour de France. And with football, especially college with all the cheating. Just look at Kansas and how arrogant they are about the accusations against their basketball team. Same with Arizona. It just doesn't mean anything to me because I do not want to be part of the mental psychosis of vicarious pleasure over the exploits of strangers.
