So who got arrested for destroying property they had no right to destroy? Who tried to stop them?

The fact that we have morons who want to destroy monuments is pretty disturbing. However, far more disturbing is that no one seems to care enough to resist them.

Could not possibly agree more. This is the greatest indication of threat to the complete destruction of our society.

The Dems are complicit in this because they have not condemned it yet. Trump will force them to defend it or condemn it.

We are all afraid to be called racist, therefore we don't fight people who want to tear down statues.

Plus most of us have jobs to do and families to take care of. We don't have time to go beat idiots with pipes. That is what it would take at a minimum, middle aged dads with steel pipes cracking peoples' skulls, many of them women. We aren't going to do anything until they come to our neighborhoods.

And that's our excuse far too often. We're too busy to fight back. They'll call us racists. We're not willing to hurt people. Our founding fathers were busy too, were going to be hanged (even worse than being called racists), and were going to have to kill thousands of their fellow British subjects. They fought anyway and against far greater odds for a cause they believed in.

And if we haven't got the balls now. We're not gonna have them when they show up to our neighborhoods. We'll let them destroy our local memorials like we let them indoctrinate our kids. Why? Because they're picking up momentum, and it'll always be easier to go along than to fight. It's sad.

The problem with "peaceful protests" in a suburban neighborhood is that they can be a trojan horse. There is no reason to assume they are peaceful or violent. But the possibility of violence exists, especially if they are chanting violent or hateful rhetoric. I believe in Texas, the shoot first, ask questions later mentality will eventually surface.

What is despicable is the media's willful failure to be honest about fear on the ground and the psychological impact of looting and property destruction, especially when a gate is destroyed.

The anger over white privilege has literally resulted in absolution of all psychological terror because "all (except guilt-ridden, virtue signaling, pathetic white liberals) white people have it coming."

"Because they're picking up momentum" is pure fact and more frightening than I would have thought possible.
I do not get it and that scares me too.

I am willing to join the cause and fight. I just don't know how to organize the cause myself.

I get that, and I don't expect people to do this alone. However, it wasn't that long ago that the Tea Party was organizing rallies. I remember seeing militia groups back in the '90s and 2000s doing all sorts of stuff. Where are these guys?

I hear about them too. I know a guy who knows a guy. Supposedly they talk about what would trigger them moving into action. Not sure what that would be or what the actual plan would be.

To me protecting neighborhoods, free speech, and even protesting bad laws would be at the top.

I believe the powder keg would be if we see marches with guns into suburban neighborhoods. Or better yet, trailer parks in Oklahoma!

Tarrant county has a strong Tea party org
    North Dallas and burbs another
    East Texas another
As far as I know these groups were meeting until the shutdown
I know the Tarrant group was not happy with their reps in the Texas legislature.

Hopefully they will gear back up but I think their main focus is on local and state issues.
If someone would take the lead nationally there might be millions waiting to do something. But we know anyone stepping up would be crucified maybe literally.

History is full of examples like we are seeing here now
These are pictures from the "Red Terror" campaign in Spain (roughly 1936-39)
They attacked both the govt and Christianity

^ THAT was hilarious and Ann is right. Where are the black people? Don't they care enough to peacefully protest on their behalf?

Agree, bystander. But not surprising - I'm rapidly getting to the point where I don't believe anything in the MSM. The MSM is clearly the mouthpiece of the Democrats, and their objective is not the reporting of news, it's the destruction of Donald Trump.

What a crazy person. It will be sad when she is old and alone, regretting all the stupid things she did when she had a chance to enjoy life.

A primary source of America’s problems is bad parenting. Whether it be fatherless blacks, Hispanic parents working too much or parents trying to be friends rather than parents, we have a monumental problem. Children of America have been brainwashed by liberal think.

I have a niece who received outstanding parenting. She has become a big time liberal. She goes to UT. I'm going with that vs. her parenting. And, believe me, I would not even make this comment if I felt otherwise.
