This poll is the top25 of QBs . Please let there be football this fall College football's top 25 quarterbacks entering the 2020 season
Sam has a legit shot at the Heisman and taking the team to new heights... I fear the approach to this season is not shaping up to favor that for him or the team. State Fair of Texas was canceled this morning - RRR could be next. Despite all the negative stuff swirling around our program the last few weeks, I would love to have college football this season.... even with limited or no crowds. It would get our focus back to some good stuff.
If the season is scrapped, does Sam come back for '21? And if he does, what impact does that have on Card/Jackson/Milroe?
Where's Sam going? He's not going first round, plus 7-8 QBs ahead of him. Not like the family needs the cash. What are his draft prospects in 21 versus 22? Everyone gets an extra year, but Lawrence & Fields may opt out anyway.
Boycott brewing in collie station. Not only is Mond not in the top 10 (this despite his self proclaimed "best QB in Texas and the $EC); Shane is even ranked above him.
He and current players were facing off all white Old Ags at Sul Ross statue recently. Fun times on the Brazos.
Don’t get Heisman hopes up for a Texas player. Don’t know if Texas gets out promoted, or there is bias, or some of both. The last two winners seem to have been well promoted by OU (and maybe by Bowlsby). Colt and Vince are glaring examples. I have not been a big fan of the Heisman for many years. But then again, selecting a best football player in the entire country is a ridiculous task.
Hope he does not come back if this season is scrapped as that will probably destroy the QB room unless our new OC does turn out to be a good one and players stay for that reason.
