The difference between the welcome Trump's supporters offer Marco and the spittle-flecked, obscene, threatening invective that the protesters hurl at Millie is shocking. It certainly shocked Marco. At Twitter, though, BIGDAVE did something clever. He reduced the video to a mere 50 seconds. I watched the whole vid during lunch. What struck me was how angry bitter vitrolic and hateful the protestors were. Remember this was a year ago when unemployment among blacks( and others) was at historic lows, wages among lower economic levels were rising Trump had instituted the opportunity zone in urban areas. Black owned businesses has risen 40% ( wonder how many black owned bizs were destroyed in the name of BLM?) Made sure HBCU received increased funding. Instituted the First Step act which benefits prisoners,many of whom as pointed out by BLM,are black. So life was improving for blacks and that cop had not killed Floyd yet So why were they so angry?
"Love trumps hate" was always a cheap and meaningless slogan. Though there are fair reasons to disagree with and vote against Trump, the people you would see at a protest are completely motivated by hatred - not just for Trump but for his supporters.
