This dishonest headline from the NYT is yet another example of why "trust in the media" in the US is at an all time low

 

Tucker Carlson had a segment showing the liberal media literally repeating the word “dark” last night. I think this is more than the DNC.

They're repeating and reinforcing the Biden campaign talking point. What I find kinda remarkable is that the party that says we're all gonna die of Covid and that the country is dominated violent racism is supposedly light and positive and that the other party is dark and negative.

 

I dated a WH reporter in DC for awhile. Every day, she got bombarded by emails, texts, faxes and even hand-delivered material from both sides. Absolutely non-stop. Every single day, including Sundays.
So that is not really the question.
The question is, why do they almost unflinchingly run with the ones from the Dems?

 

They run with what they want to be true. They want Joe Biden to look good, because they like Joe Biden, so that makes them look good.

Yep. I saw him interviewed by the Texas Monthly guy once, and TM guy basically just shrugged it off in 2 seconds as if nothing substantive had happened, a fake Republican conspiracy, even though it is what got Rather fired.

My dad went to high school with Rather, who was younger. He said nobody liked Dan back then. And this was said at the height of Rather's popularity, not after his fall from grace for forgery.
