That's not a big announcement. That's an indictment of Burris' mental abilities.

    No question about that. ^^
The voice in my head that won’t turn off says “Don’t count chickens before they hatch.” I’m in a big argument with it most of the time.

True, he has 2 more years of high school football to survive, and even if one triumphs totally, hidden injuries can occur like with Mr. Whittington. Fortunately for the latter, there are signs he has overcome his residual injury.

But the chickens are not home in the Texas coop for Ewers, yet.

The info is the previous page. Harris and Fournette were part of the same class at lsu. I think it was just the All Pro RB doing his friend a solid

    We did offer this player
He averaged over 23 yds/catch last year.

Interesting video. Seems a high 3 Star at least. Has moves and field awareness, receives well, has some speed and blocks like a demon. A lot with which to work here.

    Leyrer says --

"UVA, Stanford and Northwestern have been recruiting me the hardest .... I’ve been to Vandy, UVA, SMU, NU, USC and Stanford. I’m going to visit UT."

On Stanford "I really like the environment and the feel of Palo Alto. It’s obviously a great school and championship-level football program."

On Texas - "I’m going to have to take a very serious look at UT. Texas checks a lot of boxes for me." That visit to Austin has not been locked in yet. "But I only live three hours away."

    Been dreading this possibility
TFB is hinting some pretty bad recruiting news coming
Perhaps related to our latest commit

I woulds think Milroe would have enough Moxie to show up and compete. If not, better Texas discovers this now. Certainly he could do better than 'Bama as he would be behind their 5 Star QB from Mater Dei.

He also could be Roschon’s replacement.

Can't say that I would be surprised, after all, only one horse can be under center at a time.

Sounds like you are unfamiliar with the 10 yard minimum offense.

But a team needs at least 2 or 3 to make sure they get where they are going.

He recently tweeted out something about Miami

edit -- A Bama 247 mod just posted they could be getting big recruiting news tonight. But, FWIW, they have already landed the top 2020 QB, 5-star Bryce Young (who is enrolled). So he would be going from looking over his shoulder at Ewers to riding the bench at Bama

Makes no sense. Was he expecting Texas to "protect" him from future competition? That is infantile.

I think the same thing happened to Clemson, when Lawrence committed, their top QB commit fled to Missouri

Yeah, and Georgia "protecting" Fromm was not the wisest move. I remember watching the Sugar Bowl hoping Fields would not be inserted for Fromm.
