I realize a significant number of you do not care for pro football. So, just for those who (like me) will watch any game (especially now that some of the college games have been taken off the table): don't forget Houston at KC tonight. I've already started on my special Colorado brownies to get myself in the mood. ;)

What was all that musical stuff in the pregame? The sound was off here but I'm glad.

I was busy fixing goodies to eat, so I've missed all the pregame.

It looked like pandering to me.

If it's okay with you, this thread is about the game, itself. There are plenty of other active threads already that discuss pandering.

Machines stood and the so called Texans sat in the locker room Eff them

4 plays. 59 yds and a long TD pass to score on KC's first drive. . . . TD catch is under review. He didn't hold it long enough. Incomplete pass. Mahomes sacked on next play. Incomplete pass. 4th and 18

My bad. The players have made everything political so you know. Texans looking good right now.

I'm pulling for the Texans, since I live in Texas. I do appreciate Mahomes and Andy Reid, however.

Texans, passing and running, are already inside KC's 20. Quick drive so far.

Nice 18 yard run for TD by Houston's David Johnson

Good defense by Houston. KC had to convert a 4th down inside its own territory, but then Kelce takes a screen pass barely into Houston's territory. Then rookie runs it to the Houston 20. Then a pass inside the 10. End of first quarter. So happy football is back. After receiver dropped one of Mahomes' passes in the end zone, Mahomes comes right back and hits Kelce for the TD

After Houston made a little progress, they decided to punt on fourth and short. KC took over deep in its own territory and drove the field, mixing passes and runs. Another apparent KC TD is under review and could be close. No TD. Second and goal from the one. Run stuffed. Third and goal from about the one. Pass barely in for the TD.

Houston on a drive with 42 seconds left in the half. KC holds. 51 yard field goal attempt is wide right. Last second field goal by KC to end half. Up 17-7

Since when did they invent a scoring system for the BLM/Antifa riots? Link please.

KC on offense to begin second half . . . and driving well so far. New running back from LSU scores on 27 yard run. He already has more than 100 rushing yards for the night. KC up 24-7. Houston drove a little ways again. Watson scrambled all over the place but could not advance the ball on third down. Houston punts again.

    Pom,

If it makes you feel any better, KC is owned by true Texans, dare I say great Texans, and were the second pro football team to choose the name Texans.

Houston holds, but gets the punt at their own five yard line. Long way to go. . . . . End of third already. Fast game. Houston has a first down on about its own 16 yard line.

Watson's arm is hit on a long pass attempt, and he puts up a wounded duck that KC intercepts and runs back into Houston territory. Fat lady starting to warm up the pipes.

Looks like KC will go for it on fourth and inches deep inside Texans' territory. Time out. Pick in the end zone nullified by defensive pass interference in the end zone. Houston stuffs them twice from the one. Third and goal from the three. TD pass to Hill.

    What was the interference?

I figured that KC is the better team. They're up by 24 points now in the fourth.

Thank goodness they are not wearing black lives matter on their jerseys like the NBA. I can watch this.
As if black lives didn't already matter.

on replay, looked like a defender grabbed the guy and sort of turned him. 31-7 Houston's defense is tired. This is a lot of work for them for a first game with no preseason games to help get in shape.
