George Floyd Field has a nice ring to it.

What happened to the honoring the first black player idea? I thought that was a good idea.

I was actually amazed...when the return call came from the fund-raising people, they actually admitted that I was NOT the first person to tell them that the current issues were impacting decisions on future donations.

These were the people calling about estate donations after I kick off. Asked about connection to the University and what-not and whether I had a will or whether I had a law firm that I was connected with (umm, yeah...my employer but that won't be the office handling the estate).

I pointed out that I was not happy with the turn of events that the Administration has displayed across the past few years but that one of the camels' back breaking straws was the failure of the athletes to remain on the field even for the piped in playing of the Eyes on Saturday.

More than once, it was stated that I had NOT been the first to voice those concerns. I suspect that they are hearing from people that can bequeath a few more zeroes than I will in addition to those in my category...

I think Texas would have to forfeit the '63 and '69 titles because the football team was still racist at the time.

The person I talked to seemed surprised that I let them have my money without consequence.

Seems to me any cuts in the budget should be taken out of football. Remember when I explained the concept of win-win vs win-lose negotiations? It always comes back to bite you in the ***.

I’ve met Earl on a one on one level three times. A genuine good man. I’ve never met Ricky. He is a different dude, but always seemed to be looking out for others.

The university will miss out on good people like this regardless of race. They have set up a system of entitlement and failure.

    4th_floor Dude, where's my laptop?

I've changed my mind on this issue. Here is our new school song. Hopefully not too racist or violent.
