    A. [popcorn] on this thread. :)
    B. Toughen up. Almost every thread I post on gets pooped on.
    C. I agree with you. He needs to go. Hold his hand, get him a transfer to a great landing spot like Barry did Aikman, but, he needs to move on down the road.

I think the players are coached to lay down in order to allow rest/ proper substitutions.

Pat Culpepper wasn't the biggest in stature, but he was one of the toughest players to ever wear a Longhorn uniform.

Within my gray matter I think it was Culpepper who used to break sh-t in the dorm with his forearm drills.

Yea. It ain’t the same game. Could be better, could be worse. What is, is. What ain’t, ain’t.

Saw a video on LHN on the 63 Natl Cham team and the quotes from the living team members said that the Captains wrote weekly letters during the summer to encourage their teammates to get in shape at home.

Said many players played both ways - offense, defense, special teams as long as they were healthy and had to be in good shape to play 4 quarters.

Offense was much different with much less scoring and more emphasis on defense in their day.

Said todays players had 60+ lbs on them and the speed was a big difference vs todays game.

Interesting to compare the player stats of the 63 team vs the 2020 for the starters. Impossible to compare two different eras but the size, speed, number of specialists and tempo of the 2020 team/game is much different.

ou bubba, I respect that you are a sponsor, reluctant, bullied and pooped on and you even pay for the experience. I will never go to a blow/u site because I just don't care what they think or say.:hookem:

I had little league coaches in Fort Worth in the 70s who called us panty waists. 8-10 year old kids. Had one coach who made you run a lap around the track, quarter mile, full pads, in the August heat, if you weren't hitting hard enough. He'd say "Hook 'em" and point. Surprised I became such a big Longhorn fan after that. Found out in the last couple years he was a huge Longhorn fan. Go figure.

Anyway, the players today would probably cry if called panty waists and told to run a lap in the heat.

This thread epitomizes the state of Longhorn football. I love Fosters intensity. Reminds me of Bryant Westbrook. But the fact he quit the team in the middle of a game, then is back on the next day tells me Herman is a joke. Be a coach, be a man. Fire this cancer before he destroys Texas Football forever.

I think ou bubba wants to be a Longhorn. But he just can't admit it yet and he knows that the blow/u site sucks. That is why he is here.

I like debating and discussing things with people that I disagree with. This is a target rich environment for that. I've been posting here since about 2002. OU boards are SO boring. "what's the first play out of halftime?" "Who's the back up 3 technique?" "Riley: visor or not?".

I really enjoyed West Mall but needed to take a break as it was getting a little too consuming. But a thread about a UT quitter? I'm in. :)

Also, previously, I would have been respectful and not put that picture of Barry as my avatar. I figure I paid for the disrespect to do it now.

Ahh OU Bubba is a good guy. Gotta like someone who picks a photo of Barry when he's looking as slack jawed as ever, and with some silly hat with the name of his rival on it.

All his posts updated with the proper comment.

You know I couldn’t stand Barry when he was the OU coach, but he came to coach the Cowboys and I loved the guy. (and not because he was the coach of the Cowboys) but he used to do a weekly radio show here in Dallas.

Hands-down Barry Switzer is one of the best storytellers I’ve ever listened to. I would take the long way home from work just to hear his show on the radio absolute pure genius really super funny guy

Mack Brown obviously didn't know another Texas tradition, which I assure you Foster has not and will not participate in.
