I know that most of you know about this movie about Freddie Steinmark who was a great player and person. The movie is available for rent on Youtube. The movie should have had a two minute scene with Julius Whittier our first outstanding Black player. The movie could have mentioned that Julius was a freshman in 1969 and freshman were not allowed to play. The movie had the opportunity that we were on our way to correct racial overtones. This is meant to just be history and about an overlooked opportunity. Please review this thread if I have inadvertently got political and remove this thread.
Movie was well done and very accurate IMHO. I would like to see it again.... Bill - I think you need to start a thread to get everyone FOCUSED on the game vs. Tech!!
Thought it was well done and enjoyed it. Also thought Aaron Eckhart wasn't a good choice to play DKR.
