Long Miami drive to start the game includes plenty of good runs and ends with short TD pass. 12 plays 84 yards. Jaguars first drive is stopped when a wide open receiver drops an easy pass. Fitz runs for a long gain on a scramble, followed by another long gainer by a Miami runner on a reverse. Defensive interference in the end zone; Miami scores again on a one yard run. 14-0 in the first quarter. Jaguars driving late in first quarter. Minshew scrambles for 16 yards to about the Dolphin 27 to end the quarter. Good run by undrafted Jaguar rookie running back (Robinson) to score early in second quarter. 14-7.

Think Collin Johnson will catch a pass?

Fitz makes two tough runs in a row, including picking up a first down at midfield on a fourth and one. He also is 10 for 10 passing to start the game. Nice TD pass from Fitz. He's 11 for 11 to seven different receivers. 21-7

I'm keeping an eye out for him. Nothing yet, unless I've missed it.

Minshew dropped for 10 yard sack on fourth down. Fitz hits another pass, a short one. Now 12 for 12. Finally, an incomplete pass on second and six. And another incompletion on third down. Jaguars get the ball with very little time left in first half.

Minshew fumbles deep in his own territory. Plus a penalty on the Jaguars. Now another penalty for defensive pass interference in the end zone. Fitz runs it up the gut for a TD from the one. The Miami defense has throttled Minshew so far.

Collin Johnson just had a pass thrown his way in the end zone. Pretty well defended, but I think he could have caught it. Jaguars score a couple of plays later but miss the extra point. 28-13 with about 9 minutes left.
