Iowa St is currently in first place in Conference at 5-1 (5-2 overall) Okie St is 4-1 Texas and ou both 4-2
We will win... ...but I don't like the 11am start. We are already a slow starting team and seems exaggerated at that time based on the 3 we've had this year. Maybe I'm imagining it
We kicked off against off against the inbreds at 11 and scored on our first possession. However our other two 11 AM starts we didn't start well and lost.
If Texas beats Iowa State and the Big 12 has a 4-way tie for 1st place, the tiebreak rule compares records among the tied group Texas 2-1 ou 2-1 ISU 1-2 OSU 1-2 If ISU wins (and everything else holds), it would be Iowa State vs. ou for the title game
You know OU will be rooting for Texas next week - they would love the chance to beat Texas twice in the same year. Only downside to them would be the probable canning of Herman.
Both Stoops and Snyder did lose to Mack his last year. At the time, I thought it was a disgustingly weak attempt to save him, for their own ulterior purposes. Turns out they had nothing to worry about (thanks again Bill).
With Herman, who the heck knows? I expect Sam to be ready to play, and healed...from the bumps and bruises. I also expect an undisciplined performance, typical of Herman’s teams.
I agree. I always liked T+1 for the aggy game. But I remember the 11am kick was rough. Even for a 20 year old in the bleachers. Hopefully there's some strong coffee served with breakfast.
We need all-black uniforms like Iowa State and Nebraska, with day-glo orange trim. hahaha, just kidding.
RB Keaontay Ingram (ankle) is questionable. WR Joshua Moore, TE Jared Wiley are probable. Everyone else supposed to be available
16 seniors to be recognized -T Black -C Brewer -C Brown -S Ehlinger -M Frost -T Graham -R Hine -T Imade -K Jarmon -C Jaquess -J Jones -D Kerstetter -J Lilly -D Okafor -B Schooler -G Watson
I've been saying for a long time that we have a running back that can throw. Why are we not using his ability... Can't we be creative like that?
Thats not insane. Thats simply making the defense react or hesitate to flow and catching them with their pants down.... Its called smart football.
Understand from another thread, 1970 National Championship team will be celebrated on Friday and perhaps recognized during halftime? TV broadcast will probably not show the players that are honored on the field at Halftime (if they do that). It would be allsome if any of you that attend the game can return here sometime later and list who you remember being recognized or perhaps even spoke to the crowd.
