    HIC,

I'm calling ******** because the ones I saw in Columbus could only get two of them in a Suburban or Expedition.

People talk about the noise in the Horseshoe, but I discovered it's the polyester threads in their pants screaming "HELP ME, HELP ME"

    Texas doesn't need a pro-style QB.

I believe Ewers can run pretty well.

I saw enough of their "women" in 2006 when tOSU played us in Austin. They really put the "Uh" in "Ugly". I had to have a few drinks just to wipe away the vision from my head.

I heard from a source he trusted our coaches process, but came to realize the fans from the school he grew up loving would tear down the process before he could be successful in it. If our coaches where successful at tOSU, then why not just go there where the process is still stable.
After hearing this I finally realized the old whisper of what is wrong at UT is true, the problem is the fans. We ran off everyone including Royal (pushed into retirement early) and Brown. No one has lasted no matter how great they where. Our fans cheer for us to loose so we will fire the coach.

I won't call "********", but rather "totally made up horse ****". Sit "the source" across the table from me, and I'll destroy this statement. "The fans" had not one damn thing to do with this, unless you want to call some grossly overpaid, under productive coaches "fans".

DKR is dead, and so are all his friends who would call recruits and tell them not to sign because they didn't know who their coach would be.

The kid didn't want to come to Texas. He should never have committed if he wasn't, uh, committed. Go North. Hope it works out for you.The decommitment is a bad optic. But we've had the top QB recruits before, and it didn't pan out well. We've had the afterthought who turned into a dynamo. We'll survive.
Herman, however, is another story altogether.

This is true. Friends and I toured campus in 2010 and were absolutely shocked at how ugly the women were.

Ewers will miss those kisses though. That’s sacrifice.

Listening to the announcers pre-game talk about Ohio St makes me realize two things, it is no wonder Ewers wanted to go there, and this hype is another indication of how far we have fallen.

I actually thought the same thing as Majestic about Ewers when he committed. I was happy to have the #1 player in the country, but thought it was odd we'd try to take a pro style and turn him in to another Sam. Even if he can run I don't see why we would do that to the guy. For him to be successful you have to play to what he's best at and that's using his arm not his legs. Unfortunately, had he come here he would have been just another 5-star recruit that "didn't pan out".

Reminds me of a line from the movie “As Good As It Gets:”

“I’m drowning here and you’re describing the water.”

No that’s rubbish about the coaches.

It was long before my time, but Royal was worn out and tired of the OU cheating. He lost 5 in a row and a change needed to be made.

Same for Brown. He was tired, lazy, and sleep walking through the job as a coach. Both should have been let go two years before they were.

Herman “process” has resulted in zero conference titles, 1-4 against OU, 1-3 against TCU, and 4-9:against OU/TCU/OSU. Can’t quite compare it to Saban’s process yet.

It's not just Texas losing out on these guys, the other state programs are not getting as many of these players as they used to either.

10 years ago, the out of state schools would get maybe 1 or 2 of the top 20 Texas highschool players. Now they are getting half of them.

Tom Herman has to step up his recruiting game. These elite players don't really care about state pride anymore, nor do they seem to care about proximity to family either.

But Tommy doesn't care about in state recruiting. He said he is going to recruit nationwide. This dude is Mackovic all over again. I'm just wondering when the next Route 66 will happen.

Problem is Ewers leaving cost us 2 QBs, not just one.

Route 66 & Rice Stadium in the rain not with standing, Mackovick won 3 conference titles, ended the ags Reign of Error, cost Nebraska a shot at 3 straight, went to a pair of Tier One Bowl games and recruited Ricky, Kwame, Wane, et al, to the Forty.

And that's the bad news. This guy is no John Mackovic.
