Darn right! The Sarkisian / Coach K bandwagon is pulling out of the garage, and I'm already on it. We're going to win the conference. We're going to skunk OU. We're going to the playoffs--not just to show up, but to win it all!
@Chop definitely liking the new avatar There’s definitely something about Sarkisian and how this is all unfolding that just feels ‘different’. I will temper my expectations because after so many years of a **** show I have to....but.. we are going to get this coach’s best shot at the job as well as that from his assistants. Of this I’m certain.
Just posted this in "transfer portal" but for me concern about line depth, in particular the oline, is tempering my initial expectations.
Or tackling is a problem all over America. Coaches are paranoid. That's my take. As soon as things go south, they start making excuses without batting an eye. They are trained to be arrogant and act as if we're idiots and don't know the game. At the moment, the new coach is full of optimism. Just like we always are in the off season. HOPEFULLY, we'll see a well coached team in the Fall.
Damn straight. That’s building a culture. I think Sark is not a great hire, he is a generational hire. Hook Em Sark! Don’t doubt a great man who has experienced what he has and conquered it. It epitomizes Texas Fight. We will have a tough year next year, but the fans will be proud. In 2022, Sark beats Saban.
Dude did not say "were years away." Dude says we've said we've got the pieces in place to do some really good things. He's not low balling. Not blowing smoke. He's committed to success. I'm good.
I am GREAT! I pumped sunshine for a living, once....never got out of the mode....BUT, I truly believe we're looking at a Stoops ERA coming up...except, this time the colors involve burnt orange on the winning side.... Not sure if you saw the Westlake vs SL Carroll game....that QB for Westlake is going to be a great one....
No thanks, hate that dude. Big Game Bob won one NC, and had his team played Miami that year like they should’ve, he would have 0 NCs.
Every coach starts that way here, but it usually ends up as “winning is hard, or we need to get better”, or it’s the “coordinators fault”.
