The "CB" for LJJ was Suchomel at OrangeBloods. OB is a Rivals site. And so "technically" it was not a CB, since CBs are a 247 creation. Rivals calls theirs 'futurecast.' (I think)
All 7 of the CBs for LJ at 247 are still aggy (100%) and they include Wiltfong, Roach, Nick Harris and Gabe Brooks.
But they get it wrong a lot (aggy more than others) so we will see

The recency of the Suchomel pick is still a good sign and reason for hope. Suchomel is pretty good at this but he admitted on his podcast he is just guessing (but so is everyone else). He thinks the fact LJ has not already committed to aggy is good news. And it was a flip as Such previously had it as aggy

I don't think he actually started at either OT position on his own high school team, which I believe went winless for the season

“Every staff is different in what they want their roster management to look like from a specific numbers by position. I think the one thing we have to fight is just to fill numbers to fill numbers. We want to make sure we’re taking the best people, the best players at this point.”

It does seem that if LJ were sold on aTm, he would be committed. Hopefully Drayton, Bijan and Sarkisian will persuade him to come on over and be the next great RB at Texas. Could there be a better mentor than Bijan?

During his "meeting" with donors, Steve specifically mentioned DE & RB as being "lite", meaning we aren't as deep or have as many as he would like, and that would be an area of focus for the coaches.
