    1-0 baseball game in Houston...?

Reminds me of many Cardinals v. Astros games in the Astrodome.

Very happy to see the W, but it's hard to count on winning a lot of games in which you score only one run. Somewhere along the line (and soon!) the offense needs to put up some bigger numbers.

Horns drop the Saturday game in extra innings 3-2 as they struggle for second straight game to find runs in Houston.

And now in the Sunday game, Houston doesn't even leave their starting pitcher in for a full inning. Bwahahahaha.

Nice series. Looking better. Actually 7-2 after the pre-season scrimmage in Dallas.

The key to winning a baseball game is to score more runs than the other team.

The Horns were solid all 3 games. The series should jumpstart these guys after a lackluster start. Young and talented.

It is baseball so a crap game will will pop up occasionally. Horns are still having ugly K's, but on the whole playing much better than those first three games. How much will be on display during the South Carolina series this weekend.

Baseball can be a strange game and it's still early. I wouldn't try to read much into the early losses. When I was watching the ESPN score scroller about a week ago I noticed the #1, 3, 4, 5, 6 teams all lost that day. And some to directional schools that wouldn't make a top 300 list.

Let's see if Pierce can get them coached up for a good B12 run.

Welp. Sounds like our pitching depth was at least better then UH’s. Their third game pitcher really got shellacked, huh.

Getting hot bats in a baseball game is like fishing. You can be doing everything right, but sometimes they just don’t bite.
