Y'all really need to quit leaning on Krappy as a hero...he was a cancer in the locker room who walked away from his contract. Then, after doing so and in light of lackluster statistics, he made the choice not to play second fiddle. When he was offered a tryout, he didn't want to do so on the NFL terms.

It really IS in his best interest to never play again because his sucky performance would ruin his grifting narrative...

You really have a blind spot. It's unbelievably massive. Total denial.

Do you have any idea how much money he demanded? Did he demand to be the starter? Did he tell a businessman that he would kneel no matter how much he was being paid and no matter how much it cost business? Did he tell that business man he was a Castro lover?

He walked away from his contract. He quit on his team. He made abundantly clear he would be a cancer wherever he went. People DID care about those realities, along with the fact that his stats did not warrant the sums he was demanding...

Get a rope. Your hyperbole is beneath you. That tells me a lot about your perceptions. You want to believe we are the people who stormed the capital. You are WAY OFF.

I'm talking about why he opted out of his contract and is still on the sidelines.

    A. He did walk away and he made some poor decisions.
    B. After that he was apparently willing to acquiesce but he was blackballed.
    C. My facebook feed and a major group of this board were in "get a rope" (figuratively speaking) mode.
    D. Anyone who continued to support "stop the steal" and the other blatant lies to the detriment of the republic might as well have been beating the policeman with the American Flag like that one MAGA guy. But hey, Trump raised a lot of money during those months! And his fund raising scheme cost the GOP the Senate. Suckers...

    How does that work?

"Fiscal Conservative" = low taxes, less government programs.
"Social Democrat" = more government programs. Funded how?

I am in favor of gay marriage and not in favor of a total ban on abortion. Anything based upon religion I'd throw out.

    There are many nuances.

What breakdown would you give "for the most part"? I'd say 80/20 or 90/10, right?

Here is the corrupt and ruthless nature of New York and Liberalism.

They are ready to eat Cuomo which is fine by me. But now they want the AG to be the governor. They are talking "first black woman." Now her investigation will be tainted by accusations of self-interest on the part of the AG. It so sick.

But yeah, Liberals are the cream of the world. Let me tell you, it's UNBELIEVABLE how much evidence corruption that exists yet Liberals are world-class virtue signaling sanctimonious narcissists, That's why nobody likes them. That's why Trump was elected. They are sick vile people.

Cuomo’s troubles put New York AG Tish James in the spotlight

"“I believe that our attorney general is doing a magnificent job,” Democratic state Sen. Gustavo Rivera said of James in an interview. “And I would love to see the first Black woman be the governor of this state.”

The question is this: is Gustavo just stupid in his gushing or is he deliberately undercutting the AG?

For the most part, Longhorn fans who pilot jet planes are pathetic arseholes.

    See what I did there?

Also, I'm just kidding. I like you stubborn folks and appreciate your ability to fly us all around this little planet safely. :)

    B. I know you were kidding.

    C. Making no statement either way. Again, only pointing out what he said.

    D. Thank you.

Instead of the nice to very nice Manhattan of the Giuliani and Bloomberg years, they’re going to end up with the hellacious city from the movie “Joker.”

You picked two topics that are generally provided by private entities. How about those that cost government money like Austin buying hotels for the homeless or Uncle Sam providing health insurance.

I picked those two topics because you can divide a room fairly quickly on just those two. Same with climate change; but it's more than being a simple denier; it's the "solution" offered by Liberals.

As for the homeless, I posted about this earlier and knowing what the insiders say (they are incapable of being rehabilitated back into society and we're talking 99% of them) then we have two choices: accept trash, tent cities, aggressive panhandling, public health issues or we have to spend the money to house them as we might do mentally ill people. I'm not such a conservative as to say that the Constitution's silence means the former. Though I hate general welfare justification, in this case, we have to make a tough decision.

It's like with Al Franken. Once the mainstream Democratic Party and media turn on the guy, they really pour it on. He's a scapegoat.

Of course, all this proves that the mainstream media is unbiased and equally harsh on any side regardless of party or ideology.:smokin::smokin: :smh:

This is akin to the NYT and WP running a counter article after 12 months of publishing biased articles on a subject just to cover their *** after all their sources and such were demonstrably wrong so they can claim they were unbiased all along.

To a great extent, it's a diversion. If we weren't talking about Cuomo being a dirty old man preying on young women, then we'd be talking about his Covid approach, which is now being exposed as a blatant dumpster fire with a fraudulent veneer. And if we were doing that, it would be ruining a big narrative that drove the 2020 election.

So murder? Theft? What about incest w/young girls? Can you kidnap someone's newborn and take it home for yourself? Why not? Who ...then...decides? And on what basis?
What basis do you think almost all of our laws were written?
    You betray yourself, By.
You and I agree on many things...and we can agree on "religion", too...I'm not a fan.
I won't argue whether or not some of these issues should be federal/national and governed by laws....The people will get what they want, and what we accept or don't is a reflection of where we as a people (in relation to God) are not of government itself.
I will argue that without a moral basis derived from .....can I say that here??.....there is nowhere to draw the lines. This explains what you are now seeing in culture and you will surely see more and worse for the same reason.
Without what you refer to as "religion ", let me tell you brother you wouldn't want to live here for one hot minute....though again I'm no fan of religion itself.
    I know I know...take it to quackenbush...though I didn't raise the issue.
    Still love you man

Now Cuomo has apologized for ‘unintentionally’ doing some things that “made people feel uncomfortable.” How’s that for an apology? He feels “awful and embarrassed” by it. But... he “never touched anyone inappropriately.” This has been “an incredibly difficult situation” for him. He “will be the better for this experience.”

C’mon guys, have some sympathy for this poor man... it almost sounds like he’s the victim.

News woman Marcia Kramer asked Cuomo if he was going to step down, and that she had seen pictures of Cuomo touching numerous women’s faces. Cuomo dodged the question and deflected to NYC problems. When pressed, he just said he’d cooperate with the AG.

Regarding the photos, he then admitted that there are hundreds of photos of him touching and kissing women, and men and children. Touching faces and kissing people is just his “usual and customary way of greeting people”. He wants to “make them feel comfortable.” He now realizes that some are offended by this.

Didn’t Tom Herman have a similar problem?

And the count is apparently now up to five but HandsyAndy believes it would be "anti-democratic" to resign.

Dems must have high storage fees since they have to keep that second face SOMEWHERE...
