Hope they have s truckload coming in. Sure would like to see their freshman center trade in her Orange for Burnt Orange! She's one of the few not in the portal.

    At least 50% correct.

Unless there’s a Syracuse type situation there is no need to take 3/4 more transfers for Texas. If everything stands as it is I think they should be selective and just try to get a Small forward and a power forward/center and call it a day. With a big recruiting class coming in along with the current players on the roster, adding 3/4 more transfers just means that there will probably be 3/4 transferring out the next year. They should just keep a couple of scholarships open.

Not all transfers are created equal:

    - Grad-transfers with one season of eligibility remaining do not affect the 2022 scholarship numbers

    - Senior transfers with one season of eligibility remaining do not affect the 2022 scholarship numbers

    - Transfers who plan to play one season before declaring for the WNBA draft (or move on to their chosen profession) do not affect the 2022 scholarship numbers

    - Transfers who plan to play more than one season do possibly affect the 2022, 2023, and/ or 2024 scholarship numbers

NC State is a great choice for her. That's actually the first place I thought of when she entered the portal as she's from the Chattanooga area... figured if she aspired to be a Lady Vol she would've done so to begin with.

This was player 2 out of 3 I told you about last week. The third may have been given a second chance since Celeste left. We will see.

So, I'm losing track. You mentioned that some out-of-state players would be leaving, or am I misrembering the specifics? So far, that would be applicable to Karisma and Celeste; but, you're saying Celeste isn't among those three? So, would that be 1 out of 3 so far?

I think Ashley. Ball said that the players where from out of state.

I think Ebo is the only remaining out of stater on the roster other than Ashley.

I enjoyed watching Holle. She moves so quickly and gracefully up the court. I thought she did well in a limited roll. I understand she had a foot injury late in the season.

Celeste and Karisma are 2 out of the 3 that I was told were leaving. Sorry for the confusion.

So I follow Rickea and other alumni, current student athletes, and prospective student athletes. She went live today while out and about, and Aliyah Matharu was viewing and said a few longhorn related things. Nothing too crazy, but it’s exciting to see how she giggles and glows when mentioning the horns and Vic. The two young ladies have a inside joke about alyiah being her evil little sister. Let’s hope those relationships bring her to Texas

Well since Syracuse basically has no team left, I hope Kamilla Cardosa enters soon. If she were to enter she would immediately be top priority

I'm glad you caught it because I missed it and it has been driving me crazy that I missed what was said. I honestly think once they vote on the transfer rule, Rickea will enter.

I was bummed I missed the other viewing when the gentleman said something about Texas so made sure not sure miss the next opportunity.
She definitely doesn’t seem to be in much of a rush, but that could also be due to her mind being made up? I sure like to believe that

It was awesome seeing Aliyah basically recruit her in the comment section of her live recording!

As exciting as it seems to possibly be adding some additional pieces to our team, I think I will just let the chickens hatch if and when they do. I've seen public declarations end up in a backfire.

Only time will tell but I definitely do think things will fall into place and we really see the commitments begin when this transfer rule goes into place.

For those following the transfer (and potential transfer) situation at Miss. State, it's interesting that several are taking different approaches to the process. Of the 7 who have officially entered the transfer portal, I believe 4 have already signed with their new schools (West Virginia, Alabama, Texas, and NC State). We got the third leading scorer from MSU, and the top two scorers (Jackson and Carter) have not announced if they are staying another season (not that they need to) or entering the transfer portal; if they do plan on transferring, I'm sure they have reasons for moving at a slower pace than their teammates.

If this is true then I feel bad for Owen's. Mulkey constantly does this to the guards she recruits. This is just a rumor but if true, Owen's won't see the floor next season or Andrews.

She constantly recruits on top of her point guards... and she's already got the transfer from Texas Tech Chrislyn Carr who is a VERY good PG. If this rumor holds true, if I'm Andrews or Owens then I'm hitting the portal because KM is showing me what's up.
