For months, accelerating since Biden took office, the US has been funnelling tons of heavy armaments into Ukraine to support an invasion by Ukraine into the Eastern Donbass regions held by separatists that opposed the US supported coup in 2014. Keep in mind, the Obama administration orchestrated this, spearheaded by Joe Biden. The same people (Victoria "f**k the EU" Nuland etc.) that were in power then are running the show again.

The news has basically blacked out everything going on. If you watch the MSM, basically its the same thing every day: Race, Covid, and a feel good story showing good works by the Biden administration. But here's the latest sequence of events of the past week or two.

    1. The US announced they would deploy warships to the Black Sea in a show of support for Ukraine amid Russia's increased military presence on Ukraine's eastern border and to send a specific message to Moscow that the US is closely watching, the official said. This was announced on April 9th.

    2. Four days later Moscow warned the United States on Tuesday to keep its warships away from the Russian-occupied Crimean peninsula, calling their deployment in the Black Sea a provocation. Russian foreign minister broadcast the following: "We warn the United States that it will be better for them to stay far away from Crimea and our Black Sea coast. It will be for their own good."

    3. Two days later on April 15th the Pentagon has scrapped a potential Black Sea transit by two Navy destroyers this week due to concerns about escalating tensions between Russia and Ukraine, according to two U.S. officials familiar with the plans.

If you think the Trump foreign policy was bad (it was), it can't compare to the idiocy and buffoonery of the Biden team. First we state we are sending warships in support of Ukraine and as a show of force, then Russia says "leave," followed by a reversal and weak attempt of face saving by claiming we want to reduce tensions.

To summarize, first Biden threatens with warships. Next Russia calls his bluff. Biden backs down and decides to fight using sanctions. Also, when Biden announced the sanctions today, Putin called off the meeting Biden had requested.

These fools are liable to get our navy destroyed or worse, vaporizing the whole world.

Yeah. I hear from the other side that Russia is building up on the Eastern side. I listen to a Latvian podcast. The guy says he gives it a 30% chance of war and climbing.

If two parties wish to enter into negotiations, talks, diplomacy, and so forth, it’s generally a good idea to place yourself inside the opposite sides shoes to understand their point of view. The United States no longer does this. Carl Rove summed it up well over a decade ago.

“We’re an empire now, and when we act, we create our own reality. And while you’re studying that reality — judiciously, as you will — we’ll act again, creating other new realities, which you can study too, and that’s how things will sort out. We’re history’s actors . . . and you, all of you, will be left to just study what we do.”

Who were these separatists? What were they wearing? Why was there a coup attempt? Funny that you leave those little details out of your propaganda.

Actually that quote supposedly of Kari Rove was from 2004
And Rove has repeatedly denied it

That was comical. Slow Joe's handlers (he does nothing on policy himself, too old and senile) made a big show of planning on sailing a fleet into the Black Sea, then had to run away with their tail between their legs when Putin said boo!

If Putin is smart, and he is, he'll play hard to get about a summit. Then say he wants one with much fanfare. Slow Joe's handlers will have to send him there, then Putin can demand just him and Slow Joe and their interpreters in a closed room.

Putin would completely punk this tired old man, and get him to agree to anything, just to make it stop. Kennedy in Vienna would look like MC Stud Muffin compared to how Slow Joe would do against Putin.

The '61 summit between Nikita Khrushchev and Kennedy was a fascinating subject to read. I read a book about it and other early Kennedy events. JFK's success had largely been built on his image (good looks, youth, vigor), paid for by his dad's money and amped up via media suck-***-try. He was used to winning via walking into a room and smiling.

In a short, old, bald, plain looking Khrushchev, Kennedy found someone who didn't care the slightest about any of that, and wasn't the least bit imitated by this young US president with his glamorous wife.

He laid into Kennedy, browbeating him with all sort of accusations about the US, and Kennedy was totally unprepared for it both mentally, and physically, suffering then, as he would for his entire presidency, with various serious pains from sports and his time in the navy (the original Dr. Feelgood was the quack who shot up both John and Jackie with pain killers and stimulants).

Afterwards, a stunned and subdued Kennedy admitted to his advisors how he'd been totally dominated by the Russian. To his credit, Kennedy knew when he'd been bested.

Interestingly, this whipping at the Vienna summit, and how it dispelled Kennedy's sense that he could charm anyone anywhere, may have helped him the next year during the Cuban Missile Crisis, where Kennedy was able to stand up to the Russians, and take the world to the edge of a nuclear exchange, without losing his cool and surrendering to the idea of Russian nukes in Cuba.

The sleight of hand occurring here is criminal. While Russia is no friend of the US, they are a stagnant economy which represents less than 2% of the world GDP. Compare that to the booming Chinese economy that represents over 15% of the world GDP much of it from a chronic and massive trade deficit with the US. China controls most of our medical supply chain, routinely steals valuable IP from US corporations, strong arms our corporations to not criticize human rights violations, and responsible for a pandemic that put the world economy on hold for over a year. Seriously, what type of fool thinks Russia is the real national security threat.

Nuclear Notebook: How many nuclear weapons does Russia have in 2021? - Bulletin of the Atomic Scientists.

"As of early 2021, we estimate that Russia has a stockpile of nearly 4,500 nuclear warheads assigned for use by long-range strategic launchers and shorter-range tactical nuclear forces. This number is a little higher than last year due to the addition of the fourth Borei-class nuclear-powered ballistic-missile submarine (SSBN) and an increase in non-strategic warheads. At the same time, we have lowered the estimate for strategic bomber weapons to better match the number of operational bombers. Of the stockpiled warheads, approximately 1,600 strategic warheads are deployed: just over 800 on land-based ballistic missiles, about 624 on submarine-launched ballistic missiles, and 200 at heavy bomber bases. Another 985 strategic warheads are in storage, along with about 1,912 nonstrategic warheads."
